Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra is an acclaimed Indian actress and singer known for her work in Hindi cinema. Born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala, Haryana, she initially aspired to become an investment banker and earned a triple honours degree in business, finance, and economics from Manchester Business School. After returning to India in 2009, she joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant. Her interest in acting led her to transition into films, making her debut in 2011 with *Ladies vs Ricky Bahl*, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Chopra gained further recognition with her performances in *Ishaqzaade* (2012), *Shuddh Desi Romance* (2013), and *Hasee Toh Phasee* (2014), with *Ishaqzaade* earning her a National Film Award β Special Mention. After a brief hiatus, she returned with notable roles in *Golmaal Again* (2017), *Kesari* (2019), and *Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar* (2021).
Beyond acting, Parineeti is a trained Hindustani classical singer and has lent her voice to several songs in her films. In 2022, she expanded her presence to television by judging the reality show *Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan*. She is also an entrepreneur, having invested in the beauty brand Clensta and Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery in 2023. In her personal life, she married politician Raghav Chadha.
